Frequently asked Questions:
How often do you come out?
We suggest that service be done once a week to maintain maximum yard cleanliness. Twice weekly service is recommended for 2 or more dogs. Ask about our twice weekly service.
What if it snows or rains?
Some cold and rain will stop us. If there is a dusting or more than an inch of snow we will delay work until the next day or two, or when the snow melts. If there is snow on the ground and no new snow falls, we will resume regularly scheduled service. If the weather is extremely cold, we will reschedule service. We will usually continue to work in the rain, but if there is a heavy, steady rainfall, or continuous lightening we will stop and reschedule the work for later in the week.
Which holidays do you not work?
We do not work on the following holidays: New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Day. When a holiday falls on a regular service day, we will notify you in advance of the work schedule for that holiday. Service will return to the regular day the following week.
Should I unlock my gate?
Our workers are not permitted to jump or climb over fences. Please have your gate unlocked the day of service. If your gate is locked or the dog will not let us in to clean the yard, it may be necessary to charge for the service call. The service call charge will be billed as one half of the cost of your normal weekly charge.
Can you work with the dog in the yard?
Our workers get along well with dogs and most of the time can work with the dog in the yard. Sometimes the dog will not let the worker in the yard. If you know that your dog does not accept strangers in your yard, or if it is visible that your dog will not let us clean the yard, we ask that you restrain or confine your dog. We don't want to take preventable risks with your dog or our workers.
What do you do with the dog waste?
We locate, scoop and double bag all waste. We place it in your garbage receptacle or area designated by you, away from your dog. We disinfect all of our tools and shoes with a
Disinfectant fungicide, effective against Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Pseudorabies and
New Castle's virus and other potentially harmful diseases.
What if I want to skip a service day?
If you would like to skip a service day, please call our office early in the day so that we may tell our worker to skip your yard that day. If your dog will be gone for a couple of weeks, or you would like to skip your service for a day or more, your service can be put on hold. Future cleanups will be charged according to amount of accumulation.
How do I pay for service?
Payment is prepay, you will receive your invoice by the 15th of each month and payment is due the 1st of the next month for that months service. If payment is not received by the 1st of the month service will be suspended until payment is received, and service will resume on your regularly scheduled service day.
